In contrast with many test preparation services, with the TAKS-Pass Learning Lab, students are never locked into an expensive and unnecessarily big commitment. The TAKS-Pass Learning Lab is designed so that students can purchase and complete its Tutorial Modules and Practice Test Modules one at a time.

Tutorial Modules are organized into strands corresponding to the TEKS Learning Objectives for mathematics adopted by the Texas Education Agency and measured by the TAKS mathematics tests at various grade levels. The three strands corresponding to the exit level (Grade 11) TAKS mathematics exam are:

bullet

Patterns, Relations, & Algebra

bullet

Geometry & Measurement

bullet

Data Analysis, Statistics, & Probability

In addition, a fourth strand of Tutorial Modules corresponding to the curriculum objectives specified by the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics and TEKS Learning Objectives in lower grades than exit level, Number Sense & Operations, is also available.

With the TAKS-Pass Learning Lab, students and their parents are provided with essential ongoing feedback regarding progress and achievement. This empowers them to decide whether more help is needed and to buy only the kind of help that they want.
