After completing one or more TAKS-Pass Learning Lab tutorials,
students may purchase Practice Test Modules. These not only provide TAKS
test-taking practice, but also deliver essential feedback on learning progress
and achievement. As shown in the example below, Practice Test Modules document
and contrast present and past test performances and offer updated
recommendations on what further study efforts, if any, should be undertaken to
give the student the best chance of passing the TAKS.

The Number Sense & Operations strand appears among the curriculum standards of the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics and, even though it is not specifically stated among the 10 TEKS learning objectives, knowledge of this material is assumed for exit level math. Although performance in this strand has no direct effect on the overall achievement score or prediction regarding the student's likelihood of achieving "Met Standard" on the TAKS, it remains an important measure of math knowledge and is included for diagnostic purposes.
Your likelihood of achieving Met Standard on the TAKS Math test now
is somewhat
greater than that of failing to do so. To give yourself the best chance of
success, you
should concentrate most of your study efforts on improving your skills in:
Geometry & Measurement; and
Data Analysis, Statistics & Probability.
It is recommended that you continue your TAKS preparation by
completing the following additional work:
2 Tutorial Modules for the Geometry & Measurement strand; and
1 Tutorial Module for the Data Analysis, Statistics, & Probability strand; and
